Your eyes Moonlight glistening over a silent stream As Midnight covers the sky Perchance real , perchance a dream Silence broken by a wolf's bayful cry A howl not of anger or out of fear But of a lone sadness when you're not near Sitting under a blanket of stars I wait What else to expect from fate Quietly looking around at the shades of grey As flecks of gold slowly lift the dawn's edge Breaking free the start of a new day Knowing my heart has already a pledge Yet mesmorized by the darkened wonder Wanting to know this mystic, this friend Closing my eyes to the day's splendor To silver words my ears I lend Taking me on a journey to a new land Sinking deep into your soul, by your hand Fearless through the green of your eyes A kinship felt, would you deny?
